The book was a long time in completing and took Christine to many interesting places including the Smith-Barrys other home in Ireland (Fota House )  in county Cork. The book centres on the Smith-Barry family who lived at Marbury Hall Cheshire. It also takes the reader through the history of the Hall from the begining. The Hall was well known for being very haunted by the mysterious Marbury Lady. The authors own paranormal experiences are also part of the book which is a facinating read.
